I had my weigh in this morning and even though I didn't do great, I didn't do too bad either. :-)
Yes, I gained, but it was only 0.4 lbs - so if I were to weigh on "normal" scales, I would've maintained... lol
At first I was a little disappointed because I worked really hard at it this week, but as I said in an earlier post, going from 20 back to 25 pts may not be a good thing. And I did exercise a little more this week which as I've said earlier, too, I usually gain a little every time I step it up a bit.
So with all that, as well as a few other things, I am really glad that I only gained 0.4 and not another 4.6!!! :-)

Thoughts ...
I can honestly say that losing weight has been one of the hardest things I've ever done on a consistent basis!!!
Most of the time, I do fine and WW is so easy to follow. Then I get to a point sometimes that I wish I could lose a lot faster!!! Even though I am averaging losing a little over 4 lbs or more a month, sometimes it seems like it's taking forever!!!
I've been exercising for over a year and doing WW for over 8 months now. I look at the weeks I've gained and I ask myself how much further along I would be if I had lost... or even maintained... those weeks!!! I am not complaining or anything, just being real.
Prayerfully, this will be another good week for me and prayerfully it won't be too much longer before I reach my goal. But I do know that it's going to take time... I didn't put this weight on overnight and it's not coming off overnight!
Discipline is the key and as soon as I learn to be disciplined in my exercising and eating -especially after the weight comes off - the less likely I'll be to have to travel down this path again.
If I've learned anything at all these last few months, it has to be that it doesn't take a lot of work to gain the weight, but it takes a LOT of hard work to get it off!!! :-)

Week #34
I didn't quite lose 1.8 lb this week, but I did manage to lose over half... a pound to be exact.
While I didn't meet the goal I was hoping to accomplish this week, I am still very pleased with the pound I lost. Prayerfully I will lose the 0.8 (and more!) next week.
I did find out today that you're only supposed to do the Kick Start no more than 2 weeks so I probably shouldn't have done it last week, but I did still lose weight.
I will be doing my 25 pts again this week so hopefully I'll still lose next week. I am hoping that going from 20 back to 25 isn't going to cause me to gain.
I will definitely be exercising this week. I finally got a chance to go to the YMCA earlier today and I am planning on starting aerobics classes and more this next week. With my hubby's work schedule and having only one car, it's been a little bit hard to make it before now.
Anyway, I would appreciate any and all prayers this coming week concerning my weight and also getting back on track with my exercise. :-)

Doing Good!
I had a pretty good week this week and really didn't have any major cravings or want anything that might throw me off track.
I did the Kick Start again this week and prayerfully I will lose another 2 lbs or so at my next weigh in... which is first thing in the morning (PRAY!!!).
I am really hoping to lose at least another 1.8 lbs... or more... so that not only will I hit my 35 lb mini goal, but my weight will begin with 2 new digits. Sadly, I will lose another daily point, but I really feel like the Kick Start I've been doing will help me to be able to adjust better to having less points.
If I don't lose more than 2 lbs this time, then I will probably continue with the Kick Start at least for the next week or two. If I do lose more than 2 lbs then I will not be able to stay on the Kick Start because WW considers it unhealthy to lose more than 2 lbs for more than 3 weeks in a row.
If I don't get to continue with the Kick Start, then I don't plan on using it again until I hit another plateau. I don't want to use it too much and my body get used to it.
Thanks to everyone who is reading this and praying for me!!! If you are on a similar journey, good luck this next week and I pray that you will succeed at whatever you are trying to accomplish!!! :-)

New Workout... One I've Had For Awhile
Since DH was working late again and I couldn't get out of the house this afternoon, I decided to try a new workout. I've actually had the DVD for awhile, but have never used it.
I've been doing the Leslie Sansone Walk A Way the Pounds tapes for over a year now and I absolutely love them. I've been doing the 3-mile tape since July or August and even though it's still a great workout, it's really not a challenge anymore.
Earlier tonight, I worked out to Denise Austin's "Ultimate Fat Burner - A Complete Weight Loss Workout" and let me tell you, I am already feeling the results... not seeing anything just yet, just feeling the effects of the workout... the painful ones... LOL
Even though I will more than likely be unable to get out of bed in the morning, this was one of the best workouts I've done in a while! It covered everything from step to kickboxing and even included weight training. It was a 45-minute workout, which is normally how long I work out to my other tapes, but this one was a lot more intense and was one of those workouts where your heart rate goes up and down during the entire workout which I've heard is really great for losing weight.
I've always been a huge Denise Austin fan and, until I discovered Leslie Sansone, I always worked out along with her show and videos... I have more than a few that I will probably be pulling out again. Tonight helped me to remember how great her workouts are and how much I always enjoyed them.
I definitely recommend any of her workouts as well as any of Leslie Sansone's videos/dvds especially if you're unable to get out of the house to exercise or hit the gym.
With all that being said, I am going to go lay down and pray I can move in the morning!!!
Just kidding!!! :-)
